meet
I'm Joelle-a Filipina photographer, storyteller, and mama of two. I grew up surrounded by the simplicity and beauty of everyday life, and that's stayed with me ever since. My love for photography began unexpectedly on a second date with my husband, Cody —a golden hour moment that changed everything.
Now I find joy in capturing the in-between, the quiet, tender, imperfectly beautiful moments, and turning them into nostalgic, film-like keepsakes. My work is deeply personal, rooted in heritage, motherhood and timeless magic of memory.

Our love story began with a camera.
On our second date, Cody invited me to a photoshoot with his friends. I was thrilled ,I thought I’d finally get a chance to learn more about photography and be the one behind the lens. But to my surprise, I was the one being photographed.
At the time, I struggled deeply with self-image. I didn’t like being in front of the camera. I didn’t feel beautiful. I didn’t love my Filipino features the way I should have. But Cody saw something different…and through his lens, he helped me see it too.
It was golden hour. The light was soft and moody, and for the first time, I saw myself through someone else’s eyes … someone who loved me. That shoot changed everything. It taught me that photography isn’t just about light or angles; it’s about seeing beauty in the moments others might miss. The way a photographer sees, it’s almost romantic. Sometimes, we capture what the heart sees before the eyes do.

Now, years later, we’re raising two little ones, still creating together, still in love with photography ,and each other. That spontaneous second date is something we relive every time we shoot together.
Photography, for me, became more than just a passion. I’ve tried many creative paths, but nothing compares to capturing honest, beautiful moments ,preserving memories that tell a story. Doing it beside the person who first showed me that magic? That’s a gift I never take for granted
